GGBS
Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) is a byproduct of the iron and steel industry, obtained by rapidly cooling molten slag and grinding it into a fine powder. In construction, GGBS is widely used as a supplementary cementitious material, often replacing a portion of Portland cement in concrete mixtures. Its use enhances the durability, strength, and workability of concrete while reducing the heat of hydration and improving resistance to chemical attacks. Micro Silica
Micro Silica, also known as Silica Fume, is an ultrafine powder collected as a byproduct of producing silicon and ferrosilicon alloys. Micro silica works by filling the microscopic voids between cement particles and reacting with calcium hydroxide to form additional calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H), which strengthens the concrete matrix.
